...Et puis je devins photographe, et très vite la Ville d'Epernay et les Maisons de Champagne m'ont sollicité et ainsi permis de découvrir les nombreuses facettes de la cité, et du divin breuvage dont elle est la capitale...de la traverser parfois, pour passer d'un vignoble à l'autre.

J'aime maintenant traverser paisiblement une forêt et voir Epernay au loin, descendre puis remonter un peu au hasard des rues vers une autre forêt, atteindre la Marne, passer les ponts, suivre le train et aboutir dans l'Avenue ou le vin de Champagne a trouvé son plus bel écrin.

... and then I became a photographer, and in no time the City of Epernay and the Houses of Champagne appealed to me and thereby allowed me to discover the numerous facets of the town as well as the heavenly beverage of which it is the capital city.... I sometimes go through it, passing from one vineyard to another one.

I now deeply enjoy crossing peacefully a forest and seeing Epernay in the distance, going down and then going up streets by chance, towards another forest, reaching the Marne river, going over bridges, to follow the train and to finally end up in the Avenue de Champagne where the wine of Champagne surely nestles in its most beautiful case.
