For the first time, the Paris city guide is metamorphosing into a beautiful illustrated volume, the Paris city book. The new expanded format offers a broader, more in-depth view of the French capital, its hidden riches and profound mutations. Adopting the emblematic structure of the Louis Vuitton City Guide, this volume combines its counterpart's rigour and prescriptive character with a more enduring perspective. The address section has been enlarged and refreshed, the pages are enlivened with illustrations and colour photographs, and the book has been enriched with new thematic sections exploring the city's facades, its gardens and waterways.

Artists and leading figures in contemporary comics have been given carte blanche. All of this is enhanced by a foreword by Arthur Teboul, poet and lead singer of Parisian rock group Feu ! Chatterton.

This new vision of the city, inquisitive and open-hearted, has yielded a book that is lively, exciting and generous, just like Paris itself.
