Ce que dit l'éditeurThis great encyclopaedic work has more than 400 colour profiles and illustrations compiled from the huge amount of work by Bruno Pautigny, an aviation specialist of international repute whose work includes, amongst other things, many profiles published in France and abroad, mostly for the magazine Wingmasters. He has also illustrated model kit boxes for great companies and an Histoire &38; Collections book on theVought F4U Corsair, published in 2003. Today, with this book, he offers the reader a comprehenisve overview of the combat aircraft used by the main belligerents during the course of the 20th century. The reader will of course find here the best known aircraft that saw service during the two World Wars ; the Spad XIII, Fokker DR 1, Messerschmitt 109, Spitfire, Mustang or Dewoitine D520. He has not, however, forgotten the too often left out Finnish or Italian planes, or those that saw action during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. |
